Leonardo Barilaro lança novo EP "Seamless" com 4 faixas, sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado "Black Sun" e "Moon Seeds" no ano passado.
Dr Leonardo Barilaro, o Pianista Espacial, um polímata que une empreendimentos de engenharia aeroespacial com arte virtuosa, revela "Seamless", um EP transcendente forjado ao longo de 7 anos e 3 missões espaciais. Lançado em 27 de fevereiro de 2025, esta odisseia cinematográfica redefine a música espacial por meio do piano experimental e da narrativa celestial.
Para começar, tem a primeira faixa "Voyager Dream" que traz melodia constante de piano que cria uma atmosfera envolvente e cativante, fazendo a gente aprofundar na faixa. Aos poucos, entram riffs de guitarra que são eletrizantes, como em um rock progressivo, crescente e psicodélico, com batidas que são cativantes. O ouvinte é levado em uma viagem de autodescoberta, fechamos os olhos e então deixamos esse com intenso controlar nossos beats cardíacos e relaxamos.
"Rewriting Icarus" é introspectiva no início, com som de piano ainda tímido. Então a guitarra entra, trazendo uma melodia que passa uma história, com o piano fornecendo uma base ao fundo, entregando ao ouvinte algo que mescla o jazz e o rock, criando uma atmosfera psicodélica que vai ganhando intensidade em seu decorrer. Traz a melancolia e a profundidade, nos colocando dentro da música, é fascinante.
"Astra Noctis" é a terceira música, com muito suspense no começo, não sabemos como vai desenrolar a melodia, mas permanecemos sendo levados pelo piano, em uma canção que tem somente o piano e traz um clima de arrepiar, trazendo mudanças de ritmos e uma melodia crescente que nos conquista. O instrumental é detalhista e minimalista, trazendo dedilhados nas teclas que nos arrebata para longe, é fascinante.
Para finalizar, tem a última canção "The Shape" que nos deixa intrigados com diversos sons que interagem com nossa mente, uma melodia que é trabalhada nos mínimos detalhes, certamente passa a ideia do engenheiro espacial Leonardo Barilaro, um músico que faz com que a gente se sinta em uma jornada interstelar cósmica e celestial, com mistério, drama, suspense, sons technos, linhas de guitarra de rock progressivo e ainda o clássico piano que deixa o trabalho com elegância.

Leonardo Barilaro releases new EP "Seamless" with 4 tracks, being the first work released this year. Previously, "Black Sun" and "Moon Seeds" had been released last year.
Dr. Leonardo Barilaro, the Space Pianist, a polymath who combines aerospace engineering ventures with virtuoso art, reveals "Seamless", a transcendent EP forged over 7 years and 3 space missions. Released on February 27, 2025, this cinematic odyssey redefines space music through experimental piano and celestial narrative.
To begin, there is the first track "Voyager Dream" that brings a constant piano melody that creates an immersive and captivating atmosphere, making us delve deeper into the track. Gradually, guitar riffs come in that are electrifying, like in progressive rock, growing and psychedelic, with beats that are captivating. The listener is taken on a journey of self-discovery, we close our eyes and then let this intense sound control our heartbeats and relax.
"Rewriting Icarus" is introspective at first, with a still timid piano sound. Then the guitar comes in, bringing a melody that tells a story, with the piano providing a base in the background, delivering to the listener something that mixes jazz and rock, creating a psychedelic atmosphere that gains intensity as it progresses. It brings melancholy and depth, immersing us in the music; it is fascinating.
"Astra Noctis" is the third song, with a lot of suspense at the beginning; we don't know how the melody will unfold, but we remain carried away by the piano, in a song that has only the piano and brings a chilling atmosphere, bringing changes in rhythm and a growing melody that wins us over. The instrumental is detailed and minimalist, with fingerpicking on the keys that takes us away; it is fascinating.
