Gravado em Grenoble, este lançamento mostra a proeza de produção de Gintsugi, com produção adicional de Amorce Amorce e mixagem de FAV. "Ride" exala uma vibração de verão que captura a essência de aventuras solitárias enquanto explora temas de conexão, intimidade e o anseio universal por liberdade.
'Ride' inicia com um som de chuva, com o arranjo parecido com o original, o que altera é a voz, onde Gintsugi traz seu timbre maravilhoso nesse começo. Gintsugi releases new single 'Ride', a cover of Lana Del Rey's iconic track. This is the first work released this year. Previously, the album 'Elephant in The Room' was released last year.
The track is a new interpretation of Lana Del Rey's iconic track. Recorded in Grenoble, this release showcases Gintsugi's production prowess, with additional production by Amorce Amorce and mixing by FAV. "Ride" exudes a summery vibe that captures the essence of solitary adventures while exploring themes of connection, intimacy and the universal yearning for freedom.
'Ride' opens with a rain sound, with the arrangement similar to the original, the only change is the vocals, where Gintsugi brings her wonderful tone in this beginning. As the song progresses, more pop and electro beats enter, shaking the track at a still slow pace, but even more engaging than the original version. Our body feels the song flow with the perfect harmony between the vocalist and the sound, which sounds like a hypnotic therapy.
'Ride' wins us over once again, since Lana Del Rey has obviously done this in the past, now in this cover version it is as if she were giving a new facet to the track, without changing the melody and its direction, just more lively in the pre-chorus and in the chorus, where we feel a growing dance vibe.
