Icarus Phoenix, diretamente de Baltimore, é composto por Drew Danburry (Vocal), Eli Sims (Bateria), Leena Rhodes (Sintetizador e vocal) e Brendan Russell (Baixo). A nova canção 'Doctor! Doctor!' nos leva em um folk rock ao estilo anos 2000, um som que vai crescendo e tem a suavidade dos riffs de guitarra combinado com o vocal bem delicado, entoando timbre mais alto aos finais dos versos que nos faz cantar juntos.
'Doctor! Doctor!' é aquela música que faz a gente refletir sobre a vida. Com uma letra bem profunda, somos levados a pensar sobre o mundo e nossa existência aqui. 'Doctor! Doctor!' é honesta, com batidas crescentes, som de baixo que é bem contagiante, ditando o tom da música, é completamente relaxante com o vocal que combina perfeitamente com a música. O solo de guitarra é sensacional.
Icarus Phoenix nos faz imaginar ir em uma viagem ao campo, com florestas de pinheiros ao lado, a noite, com o som tocando no carro, talvez ir em um acampamento, uma canção que com sua honstidade lírica abrange os pensamentos humanos sobre a existência e o significado disso tudo.

Icarus Phoenix releases new single 'Doctor! Doctor!', the eighth work released this year. Previously, the singles 'Hide Tide' and 'Painting' had been released.
Icarus Phoenix, straight from Baltimore, is composed of Drew Danburry (Vocals), Eli Sims (Drums), Leena Rhodes (Synthesizer and vocals) and Brendan Russell (Bass). The new song 'Doctor! Doctor!' takes us on a 2000s-style folk rock, a sound that grows and has the softness of the guitar riffs combined with very delicate vocals, intoning a higher timbre at the end of the verses that makes us sing along.
'Doctor! Doctor!' is that song that makes us reflect on life. With very deep lyrics, we are led to think about the world and our existence here. While the doctor tries to convince the character that life is very important, that the people around us love us, that we miss friends, family and even children, the character responds that maybe that makes sense, but that life is very complicated and full of hard work to the point that we don't have time to enjoy it in any way, or that in weeks after our death no one would miss us anymore, or that we don't fit into society's mold.
'Doctor! Doctor!' is honest, with growing beats, a bass sound that is very contagious, setting the tone of the song, it is completely relaxing with the vocals that perfectly match the music. The guitar solo is sensational.
Icarus Phoenix makes us imagine going on a trip to the countryside, with pine forests nearby, at night, with the stereo playing in the car, maybe going camping, a song that with its lyrical honesty encompasses human thoughts about existence and the meaning of it all.
