'Best Friends' is a song about friendships that fade with time. Nostalgic alternative pop with a hiphop tone inspired by Childish Gambino, Francis and the Lights and BERWYN. The single arrives just ahead of debut album 'About Time' (released 24/07/24) with continued support from BBC Introducing, BBC London News, BBC Radio London and local press. Their previous release, I Love You Always Forever, is going viral with over 40 million views on Instagram.
'Best Friends' is a delightful song that makes us travel through time. We can imagine our best childhood friends, when we grow up it is no longer the same. Best friends at school, but when school ends, everyone goes their own way.
With electrifying synth pop, a sound that manages to flirt with hip hop and lead us in soft and relaxing waves, with a vocal that brings slow and engaging rhymes.
'Best Friends' has a nice and special atmosphere, with arrangements that sound like a trumpet or saxophone in the background, a very well-crafted song that makes us explode in the chorus when the line 'We Used To Be Best Friends' appears.
