Shane canta com um estilo minimalista e com um timbre que nos contagia, fazendo a música fluir suavemente em nosso corpo. É um hit de verão.
'Irrational' é a quinta faixa, com uma pegada mais pop rock, batidas fortes e uma música solta e corrida que faz a gente entrar na canção e ser carrregado como uma folha na brisa. Indo para o refrão, é repetido o nome da faixa, com um vocal fazendo arranjo ao fundo. Indo para o refrão, tem som de saxofone e então fica um clima agradável que contagia e nos faz cantar juntos o nome da música. Versátil, tem um trecho que diversifica antes de ir para as últimas partes.
'Losin You' é a sétima faixa, que inicia com acordes de violão, tem algo mais folk aqui. As batidas são agitadas, faz a gente entrar na euforia de um pop com influências folk, o que é maravilhoso. A música é cativante, nos faz imaginar ouvir ela em uma estrada a noite com uma pessoa especial ao nosso lado, um pop com tons românticos e ainda uma aventura na melodia.
'Where I'm At' é a última canção, a décima primeira, que chega com toques de piano e então o vocal entra na canção com toques discretos de bateria nas transições. O piano continua constante na canção, entrando um arranjo sensacional que passa um som fresco na canção, expandido para onde vai a melodia no refrão. Aqui, Shane consegue captar nossa atenção em uma canção diferenciada e autêntica, com letras que traz o personagem na primeira pessoa, algo pessoal, com beats que vão crescendo e ficando mais envolventes.
O álbum 'Irrational' está incrível, é aquele tipo que não precisamos pular nenhuma faixa, todas estão sensacionais, com algumas que poderiam ser até HITS para o verão no hemisfério norte. Com um estilo pop, rock, e acústico, Shane Rennison não deve nada a artistas como Harry Styles ou Ed Sheeran, Shane consegue lançar talvez um dos melhores albúns pop dos últimos anos.

Shane Rennison releases new album 'Irrational', the first work of its kind released this year. Previously, some singles that were part of the album had been released.
Over the years, Shane has won over fans with his unique blend of indie pop. Characterized by acoustic and electric guitar, unique drum patterns and synthesized piano, Shane draws comparisons to renowned artists such as Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit and Harry Styles. With the arrival of 'Irrational', Shane reaches a significant milestone in his blossoming career. 'Irrational' offers a rich tapestry of sound, highlighting Shane's eclectic musical influences. The album seamlessly fuses freshness and nostalgia, immersing listeners in intricate compositions, lush harmonies, and unexpected instrumental flourishes, all expertly intertwined.
To begin with, there's the first track 'All The Scars' which manages to electrify us with a danceable beat and groove that easily sticks in your head. The chorus is singable and makes us want to sing too. The synthesizer is very well placed, it's sensational to start the album with this timeless pop and Shane already connects us with the vibes of the album in this song that has striking lyrics.
The third track 'What You Need To Know' comes with sound effects of beats in the introduction that are stimulating and sound like fingers snapping, with a very soft and captivating synthesizer, it has a tropical Caribbean influence in the chorus. Shane sings with a minimalist style and a timbre that infects us, making the music flow smoothly in our body. It's a summer hit.
'Irrational' is the fifth track, with a more pop rock feel, strong beats and a loose, running song that makes us get into the song and be carried like a leaf in the breeze. Going to the chorus, the name of the track is repeated, with a vocal arranging it in the background. The song is delicious and has an engaging, light and relaxed atmosphere, like dream pop, it could be the soundtrack for a teen romance movie.
'Too Beautiful' is the sixth song, with a more different feel, sounds that sound like a keyboard, very discreet beats and riffs in the background. The vocals sing like pop with a more reggae sound in the first part, bringing this vibe of a fresh sound for summer. Going to the chorus, there is a saxophone sound and then there is a pleasant atmosphere that is contagious and makes us sing the name of the song together. Versatile, there is a section that diversifies before going to the last parts.
'Losin You' is the seventh track, which starts with acoustic guitar chords, there is something more folky here. The beats are upbeat, making us feel the euphoria of pop with folk influences, which is wonderful. The song is captivating, it makes us imagine listening to it on a road at night with a special person by our side, a pop song with romantic tones and an adventure in the melody.
'Where I'm At' is the last song, the eleventh, which arrives with touches of piano and then the vocals enter the song with discreet touches of drums in the transitions. The piano remains constant in the song, entering a sensational arrangement that gives a fresh sound to the song, expanded to where the melody goes in the chorus. Here, Shane manages to capture our attention in a different and authentic song, with lyrics that bring the character in the first person, something personal, with beats that grow and become more involving.
The album 'Irrational' is incredible, it's the kind where we don't need to skip any track, they are all sensational, with some that could even be HITS for the summer in the northern hemisphere. With a pop, rock, and acoustic style, Shane Rennison owes nothing to artists like Harry Styles or Ed Sheeran, Shane manages to release perhaps one of the best pop albums of recent years.
