Powers Of The Monk lança novo single cover 'It's Your Voodoo Working' sendo o quarto trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles 'Puffy Head' e 'Switchin' Rails'.

Nesse novo trabalho, Powers of The Monk nos contagia e faz a gente voltar no tempo com o rock blues que é de autoria de Charles Sheffield de 1961. Nessa nova versão, percebemos um arranjo mais fresco e pop, com sintetizador e batidas mais agitadas. A guitarra ainda nos faz chorar. É um hino dos blues. Powers Of The Monk releases new cover single 'It's Your Voodoo Working', the fourth album released this year. Previously, the singles 'Puffy Head' and 'Switchin' Rails' had been released.

In this new work, Powers of The Monk infects us and takes us back in time with the blues rock that was written by Charles Sheffield in 1961. In this new version, we notice a fresher and poppier arrangement, with synthesizer and more upbeat beats. The guitar still makes us cry. It's a blues anthem. The new work makes us feel the good old blues in the middle of an indie rock ballad with pop influences, a retro genius that is sensational in this new cover. The female vocals are soft and relaxing, contagious and make the song stick quickly.

We are taken into this new cover with a sweeping guitar solo, setting us on fire from the inside, a danceable atmosphere with the beats and then the retro party is established. The track is incredible, in a reinterpretation that modernizes the 60s anthem and makes it reborn in a completely different world but with the same relevance, that's incredible.
