Dropjaw Jacobites lança novo álbum 'Rogue Taxidermy' com 10 faixas sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Mais do que apenas um álbum, Rogue Taxidermy é um show de horrores que ziguezagueia desde a loucura lisérgica dos desenhos animados até explorações intelectuais de morte, sexo e angústia existencial.
O novo trabalho 'Rogue Taxidermy' inicia com a primeira faixa 'Sole of Amen' com um vocal bem misterioso e tenebroso, passando algo sombrio com uma melodia dark ao estilo country. Aos poucos entram batidas cativantes e marcantes. O começo do álbum já sabemos sobre o estilo underground e único de Dropjaw Jacobites. Nessa faixa tem de tudo, entrando o rock aos poucos e diversos sons que nos leva a diferentes ambientes.
A terceira faixa 'Pawn' tem um rock estrondoso que incendeia a gente por dentro na introdução. O vocal é bem psicodélico, a faixa é completamente surpreendente, algo cinematico como de filmes de terror. É uma arte que nos conquista por ser diferente, fugindo do cenário industrial de sempre.
A quarta faixa 'Ecclesiastes (Is a 12 Letter Word)' chega com um som que nos conecta ao estado natural, como se tivesse essas vozes em nossa cabeça nos puxando para dentro. As batidas soam como batidas de povos ancestrais, trazendo esse aspecto natural que nos envolve profundamente na música. A faixa é sombria quando chega em sua metade, nos deixando em estado de adrenalina constante.
'Pratitysamutpada Blues' é sexta faixa, que começa com os vocais trazendo algo que contagia logo no começo e podemos cantar juntos. A faixa traz aspecto do stoner rock, nos levando em algo eletrizantes com riffs e o vocal bem expressivo. As batidas são agitadas, sentimos o stoner rock fortemente aqui com influências do art rock, é genial.
'Palsied Moons' é a oitava faixa, com um art rock, riffs de guitarra que são desconcertantes, a sonoridade é envolvente. O vocal traz seu estilo sólido e sombrio. É uma faixa que nos faz viajar para longe, passando por ambientes nunca visto antes. É um som diferente, forte e marcante.
'Dirge' tem um começo como se fosse muitas pessoas rindo e conversando. O vocal é extremamente importante nessa faixa, levando a música como ele quer no começo como se fosse a capela. Com sons de tosses ao fundo como efeitos especiais, a faixa finaliza o álbum com o alto estilo de Dropjaw Jacobites, mostrando o quanto são autênticos e expressivos, com faixas inesquecíveis que nos permite conhecer um pouco mais do underground.

Dropjaw Jacobites releases new album 'Rogue Taxidermy' with 10 tracks, the first work released this year.
More than just an album, Rogue Taxidermy is a freak show that zigzags from lysergic cartoon madness to intellectual explorations of death, sex, and existential angst.
The new work 'Rogue Taxidermy' begins with the first track 'Sole of Amen' with a very mysterious and dark vocal, conveying something dark with a dark country-style melody. Gradually catchy and striking beats. At the beginning of the album we already know about the underground and unique style of Dropjaw Jacobites. This track has it all, with rock gradually coming in and different sounds that take us to different environments.
The third track 'Pawn' has a thunderous rock that fires us up inside in the intro. The vocal is very psychedelic, the track is completely surprising, something cinematic like horror films. It is an art that we conquered because it is different, escaping the usual industrial scenario.
The fourth track 'Ecclesiastes (Is a 12 Letter Word)' arrives with a sound that connects us to the natural state, as if there were these voices in our head pulling us inside. The beats sound like the beats of ancient people, bringing this natural aspect that deeply involves us in the music. The track is dark when it reaches its halfway point, leaving us in a state of constant adrenaline.
'Pratitysamutpada Blues' is the sixth track, which starts with the vocals bringing something that is contagious right from the beginning and we can sing together. The track has a stoner rock aspect, taking us into something electrifying with riffs and a very expressive vocal. The beats are upbeat, we feel stoner rock strongly here with art rock influences, it's brilliant.
'Palsied Moons' is the eighth track, with art rock, guitar riffs that are disconcerting, the sound is immersive. The vocal brings his solid and dark style. It's a track that makes us travel far away, passing through environments we've never seen before. It's a different, strong and striking sound.
'Dirge' starts off like lots of people laughing and talking. The vocal is extremely important on this track, carrying the song as he wants in the beginning as if it were a cappella. With coughing sounds in the background as special effects, the track ends the album with the high style of Dropjaw Jacobites, showing how authentic and expressive they are, with unforgettable tracks that allow us to learn a little more about the underground.
