MYCLOWNSHOES lança o novo single 'Temptation Is a Weapon' sendo a quinta faixa do álbum 'Tantrum' recém lançado. Também foi lançado como single nesse ano a faixa 'God Killed Kafka'.
Após um hiato de quase cinco anos desde seu álbum de estreia, 'Lips Do What Hands Do', a banda indie Myclownshoes retorna com seu novo single “Temptation Is a Weapon”. Esta faixa é o primeiro vislumbre de seu tão aguardado segundo álbum, “Tantrum”, com lançamento previsto para 9 de junho de 2024.
'Temptation Is a Weapon' significa uma mudança significativa no estilo musical de Myclownshoes, passando do R&B de quarto para um som de rock mais alternativo. Tematicamente, o solteiro investiga as complexidades de uma atração proibida e da culpa religiosa por querer alguém carnalmente.
O novo trabalho chega como se fosse um som que mescla os anos 80 com os anos 90, podemos imaginar em um universo onde BLONDIE encontra Hole, com vocal feminino e riffs de guitarra que soam como um hino.
'Temptation Is a Weapon' nos conquista com batidas que agitam nosso corpo e o instrumental eletrizante, fluindo em nossas veias esse rock and roll dançante e com uma forte mensagem. MYCLOWNSHOES releases the new single 'Temptation Is a Weapon' being the fifth track from the recently released album 'Tantrum'. The track 'God Killed Kafka' was also released as a single that year.
After a nearly five-year hiatus since their debut album 'Lips Do What Hands Do', indie band Myclownshoes return with their new single “Temptation Is a Weapon”. This track is the first glimpse of her highly anticipated second album, “Tantrum”, due for release on June 9, 2024.
'Temptation Is a Weapon' signifies a significant change in Myclownshoes' musical style, moving from bedroom R&B to a more alternative rock sound. Thematically, The Bachelor delves into the complexities of forbidden attraction and religious guilt for wanting someone carnally.
The new work arrives as if it were a sound that mixes the 80s with the 90s, we can imagine a universe where BLONDIE meets Hole, with female vocals and guitar riffs that sound like an anthem.
'Temptation Is a Weapon' conquers us with beats that shake our body and the electrifying instrumental, flowing through our veins this danceable rock and roll with a strong message. The band is super fun, taking us to different environments, in this track that if played at a rock party everyone would jump and feel the energy burning inside, to lift the atmosphere and in a tone of protest against mental prisons that society has built throughout of the centuries that repress freedom.
