Me and Melancholy lança novo álbum 'Illusio Veri' sendo o primeiro grande trabalho do ano. Nesse ano, já havia lançado alguns singles. Com esse novo álbum, chega a marca de terceiro álbum, os anteriores são 'Under Cover of Darkness' e 'You and Me, Melancholy'.
Este é o terceiro álbum de Me & Melancholy e o tema do álbum é expresso pelo título que significa a ilusão da verdade em latim e aborda as coisas malucas que acontecem no mundo de hoje. O som é como uma atmosfera eletrônica sombria e centrada na batida.
Para começar, tem a primeira faixa 'My Bucket of Things To Do Before I Die', que chega com uma energia que nos leva de volta aos anos 80 e 90, com um eletro pop atemporal, um vocal que nos faz flutuar para longe e a melodia que flui suavemente em nosso corpo. O ritmo dançante e mágico nos leva a um universo de aventuras, fazendo nosso corpo dançar.
'Meant to be Broken' é como um indie pop retro, sem perder a modernidade e o som fresco. É como se Tears For Fears fossem mais atuais. Me and Melancholy releases new album 'Illusio Veri', being the first major work of the year. That year, he had already released some singles. With this new album, the third album arrives, the previous ones being 'Under Cover of Darkness' and 'You and Me, Melancholy'.
This is the third album by Me & Melancholy and the theme of the album is expressed by the title which means the illusion of truth in Latin and addresses the crazy things happening in the world today. The sound is like a dark, beat-centric electronic atmosphere.
To begin with, there's the first track 'My Bucket of Things To Do Before I Die', which arrives with an energy that takes us back to the 80s and 90s, with a timeless electro pop, a vocal that makes us float away and the melody that flows gently in our body. The dancing and magical rhythm takes us to a universe of adventures, making our bodies dance.
'Meant to be Broken' is like retro indie pop, without losing its modernity and fresh sound. It's as if Tears For Fears were more current. The synthesizer is brilliant, making our body shake and imagine lights and smoke from a club. With a dark pop atmosphere in some parts, the transitions are electrifying, with profound lyrics.
The fourth song 'Tears in The Rain' has an introduction that we feel is a timeless anthem, with a brilliant synthesizer, the cabcoa is full of life and a special electro pop atmosphere that the beats move our body and the synthesizer brings us a nostalgia for the 90s. The vocal is solid and balances the euphoric sound with its lower timbre, going into a chorus that makes us want to sing together. It's for jumping and shaking, feeling the music run through your body.

Me and Melancholy's new album has a transcendental and magical sound fusing the electro and pop universes, with a sound that ranges from something danceable to the more melancholic side, ranging from euphoria to something more dramatic, a sonic rollercoaster that takes us to different emotional environments.
