O novo trabalho chega com um love song que com influências do rock clássico nos leva a reviver um flashback da dança de uma festa da adolescência, ou um baile de formatura. Comett nos faz ter a experiência aqui dos medos e insegurança de chamar a pessoa desejada para dançar.
'The Dance' nos leva em um estilo rock clássico, com riffs de guitarra suaves que nos conquista, batidas crescentes e baixo bem presente que traz o tom para a música. Se a memória for longe, a canção nos faz lembrar do clássico 'PROCOL HARUM - A Whiter Shade Of Pale'.
O vocal de Comett é sereno, sólido, fazendo a nossa mente voar de volta quando tínhamos 13 a 15 anos, e então um episódio que faz nossas pernas tremerem de medo ao chamar alguém para dançar, e quando acontece, você não quer que esse momento acaba. Comett releases new single 'The Dance', the first work released this year. Previously, the EP 'Video Club' was released last year.
The new work arrives with a love song that, with classic rock influences, takes us to relive a flashback of dancing at a teenage party, or a prom. Comett gives us the experience here of the fears and insecurity of asking the desired person to dance.
'The Dance' takes us in a classic rock style, with soft guitar riffs that win us over, growing beats and a very present bass that brings the tone to the song. If memory goes back, the song reminds us of the classic 'PROCOL HARUM - A Whiter Shade Of Pale'.
Comett's vocal is serene, solid, making our mind fly back to when we were 13 to 15 years old, and then an episode that makes our legs shake with fear when asking someone to dance, and when it happens, you don't want that moment ends. The song comes with a brilliant animated video that illustrates this experience of asking someone to dance, watch it below:
