Bollard lança novo single 'Jacob The Liar' sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o álbum 'Lo' e o single 'Montreal Donuts' no ano passado. 

Bollard é uma banda de rock de Melbourne, Austrália, composta por Tom Walsh, Ju Shung (Raindogs), Luke Scott (Highschool, Raindogs), Benton Ching, Marni Walsh, Declan Moran e Wes Faulkner. Desde a sua criação em 2018, Bollard se tornou uma referência na cena musical ao vivo em Melbourne. 

Bollard nesse ano vem desenvolvendo um novo trabalho, com um próximo EP “I Was Wide Open” com lançamento previsto para meados do ano, com um novo álbum completo também em andamento.

O novo single 'Jacob The Liar' traz algo new wave, indie rock com uma pegada psicodélica quando tem a misturas dos riffs suaves e leves com o arranjo, o vocal introspectivo e suave, nossa mente flutua para longe nesse art rock.

'Jacob The Liar' tem batidas agitadas, nos levando em um ritmo dançante, com algo atemporal que faz a gente reviver uma mistura de vibes dos anos 80 e 90, um hino indie rock que sobrevive as épocas. Nos lembra '1979' de The Smashing Pumpkins.

Bollard releases new single 'Jacob The Liar', the first work released this year. Previously, the album 'Lo' and the single 'Montreal Donuts' had already been released last year.

Bollard is a rock band from Melbourne, Australia, consisting of Tom Walsh, Ju Shung (Raindogs), Luke Scott (Highschool, Raindogs), Benton Ching, Marni Walsh, Declan Moran and Wes Faulkner. Since its inception in 2018, Bollard has become a fixture on the Melbourne live music scene.

This year Bollard has been developing new work, with an upcoming EP “I Was Wide Open” scheduled for release in mid-year, with a new full album also in progress.

The new single 'Jacob The Liar' brings something new wave, indie rock with a psychedelic touch when it has the mix of soft and light riffs with the arrangement, the introspective and soft vocal, our mind floats away in this art rock.

'Jacob The Liar' has upbeat beats, taking us in a danceable rhythm, with something timeless that makes us relive a mix of vibes from the 80s and 90s, an indie rock anthem that has survived the ages. Reminds us of '1979' by The Smashing Pumpkins.
