We Were Young lança folk pop suave e sereno em "The Kids"

We Were Young lança novo single "The Kids" sendo o quinto trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "My Default" e "Fantasy Fiction Fatality".

Uma faixa que nasce do push-pull da vida familiar, onde a harmonia e a discórdia partilham o palco. É um instantâneo daqueles momentos em que a banda parece mais um campo de batalha, envolto em indie pop com toques folk.

"The Kids" chega com um toque gostoso de ouvir, uma, introdução cativante com riffs constantes e suaves. Então entram as batidas fortes e espaçadas, dando um ritmo para a faixa. Somos levados pela voz cheia de harmonia do vocalista que nos conquista que sua suavidade e serenidade.

"The Kids" então tem uma mudança de rumo, entrando um som de sintetizador agudo, mesclando algo do synth pop de forma genial. Um vocal vai cantando e faz a gente cantar junto enquanto a melodia corre. 

"The Kids" é algo folk, rock leve, pop, algo que faz lembrar de Jack Johnson, é aquela faixa que traz leveza ao nosso dia e então podemos ir longe e voar para lugares não explorados antes. We Were Young releases new single "The Kids" being the fifth work released this year. Previously, the singles “My Default” and “Fantasy Fiction Fatality” had already been released.

A track that is born from the push-pull of family life, where harmony and discord share the stage. It's a snapshot of those moments when the band feels more like a battlefield, wrapped in indie pop with folk touches.

"The Kids" arrives with a nice touch to listen to, a captivating introduction with constant and smooth riffs. Then give the beats strong and spaced out, giving the track a rhythm. We are carried away by the voice full of harmony of the vocalist who conquers us with his benefits and serenity.

"The Kids" then has a change of direction, going into a high-pitched synthesizer sound, mixing something of synth pop in a brilliant way. A vocal sings and makes us sing along while the melody runs.

"The Kids" is something folk, light rock, pop, something that reminds us of Jack Johnson, it's that track that brings lightness to our day and then we can go far and fly to places not explored before. The track is perfect for taking that dream trip and being the soundtrack of the moment with someone you love by our side.
