Erik Hansen lança novo EP "Seasons Of The Wind" sendo o primeiro trabalho solo lançado em artista.

Com 5 faixas, Seasons of the Wind é a introdução mundial a Erik Hansen como artista solo, e é fácil ouvir o rico legado do músico em toda parte. Abordando temas de exploração espacial, mortalidade diante de doenças e a necessidade de superar todos os obstáculos da vida. Seasons of the Wind foi co-produzido por Erik Hansen com Pamela Moore (famosa em Queensryche). A bateria foi tocada por Chris Gohde (My Sister’s Machine, Accused A.D.) e a guitarra pedal steel em Horizon e Forever Dream foi fornecida por John Hansen (pai de Erik).

Inspirado na guitarra thrash que Hansen descobriu quando criança através de nomes como Nirvana e The Offspring, bem como nas influências dos anos 70 e 80 como AC/DC, Deep Purple e Metallica que o encontraram mais tarde na vida, Seasons of the Wind é um EP de rock assumidamente.

Para começar, tem a primeira faixa "The Road", um hino rock and roll que traz o estilo dos anos 70 com os anos 90, como se fosse um hit atemporal, uma mistura do rock clássico com punk, somos agitados pelas fortes batidas e riffs de guitarra que nos arrebata. O vocal expressivo nos conquista logo nesse começo, então no refrão cantamos juntos, uma pura nostalgia que é eletrizante.

A segunda faixa "Send Me a Sign" é inspirado, nas palavras do artista, “todas as besteiras mesquinhas que muitas pessoas nos fazem passar no nosso dia a dia”. É a trilha sonora de qualquer pergunta estúpida que você tenha feito, de qualquer pessoa que já tenha interrompido você e de qualquer trabalho de última hora que tenha acontecido 5 minutos antes de terminar o trabalho. Um punk rock que nos lembra Greenday e The Offspring, uma aventura insana dos anos 90 que torna essa faixa forte e poderosa com riffs de guitarra intensos e nervosos.

"Horizon" é a terceira faixa, no começo nos traz o folk country, com um som característico do estilo, cantado ao estilo rock. Uma delicia viajar na estrada pelo interior ouvindo essa faixa que é algo que vai ficando grande e profundo, com a entrada de violão.

 "Traveller" é a quarta faixa, com uma introdução alucinante com um som que fica disperso e vai chegando cada vez mais perto, é uma faixa forte e poderosa, com um rock que lembra a época do grunge e anos 90, algo de Pearl Jam com Creed, a faixa é como o nome, fica viajando em nossa mente, fazendo a gente se tornar um viajante no espaço ao som da guitarra trash e barulhenta, incendiando nossas veias.

Para finalizar tem a última faixa, sem muito spoiler, "Forever Dream" tendo uma sonoridade crescente e com base sólida nas cordas de guitarra, um vocal que vai crescendo, é uma das grandes faixas do EP!

"Seasons of The Wind" é sobre para onde vai os rumos da vida, da sociedade, com muito rock and roll e uma sonoridade única, que faz a gente sentir os anos 90, o punk, o rock clássico, em um rock genuíno e que mata a saudade para quem ama o rock.

Erik Hansen releases new EP "Seasons Of The Wind" being the first solo work released by the artist.

At 5 tracks, Seasons of the Wind is the world's introduction to Erik Hansen as a solo artist, and it's easy to hear the musician's rich legacy throughout. Addressing themes of space exploration, mortality from disease and the need to overcome all of life's obstacles. Seasons of the Wind was co-produced by Erik Hansen with Pamela Moore (of Queensryche fame). Drums were played by Chris Gohde (My Sister’s Machine, Accused A.D.) and the pedal steel guitar on Horizon and Forever Dream was provided by John Hansen (Erik’s father).

Inspired by the thrash guitar that Hansen discovered as a child through the likes of Nirvana and The Offspring, as well as the '70s and '80s influences like AC/DC, Deep Purple and Metallica that found him later in life, Seasons of the Wind is a Unapologetically rock EP.

To begin with, there is the first track "The Road", a rock and roll anthem that brings the style of the 70s with the 90s, as if it were a timeless hit, a mix of classic rock and punk, we are stirred by the strong beats and guitar riffs that sweep us away. The expressive vocal wins us over right from the beginning, then in the chorus we sing together, a pure nostalgia that is electrifying.

The second track “Send Me a Sign” is inspired by, in the artist’s words, “all the petty nonsense that many people put us through in our daily lives”. It's the soundtrack to every stupid question you've asked, every person who's ever interrupted you, and every last-minute job that happened 5 minutes before you finished work. A punk rock that reminds us of Greenday and The Offspring, an insane adventure from the 90s that makes this track strong and powerful with intense and nervous guitar riffs.

“Horizon” is the third track, at the beginning it brings us folk country, with a characteristic sound of the style, sung in a rock style. It's a delight to travel along the road through the countryside listening to this track, which is something that gets big and deep, with the entrance of the guitar.

 “Traveller” is the fourth track, with a mind-blowing introduction with a sound that disperses and gets closer and closer, it is a strong and powerful track, with rock that reminds us of the grunge era and the 90s, something like Pearl Jam With Creed, the track is like the name, it continues traveling in our mind, making us become a space traveler to the sound of the trashy and noisy guitar, setting our veins on fire.

Finally, there is the last track, without too many spoilers, "Forever Dream", with a growing sound and a solid foundation in the guitar strings, a vocal that grows, it is one of the biggest tracks on the EP!

“Seasons of The Wind” is about where the direction of life and society is going, with a lot of rock and roll and a unique sound, which makes us feel like the 90s, punk, classic rock, genuine rock and that kills the nostalgia for who likes rock.
