IIES. lança o novo single "Wings" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Black & Blue (Live from TangoStudios)" no ano passado e "Homesickness" em 2022.
Formado pelo baixista Jacob Montano, o baterista Baz Gillen, o guitarrista Aidan Roberts e o pianista Killian Bertsch, eles oferecem aos ouvintes uma nova perspectiva dentro de um jazz clássico mas com toda a certeza de explorar o que pode acontecer se misturar outros gêneros e extrapolar essas barreiras, eles então nos surpreende com a qualidade e autenticidade mostrada em "Wings".
"Wings" é uma mistura de sons que certamente emocionará os conhecedores de música em todo o mundo. Criado a partir de elementos de rock, jazz, rap, hip-hop e blues, este single certamente chamará a atenção de curiosos e estudiosos da música. IIES. releases the new single "Wings" being the first work released this year. Previously, the singles "Black & Blue (Live from TangoStudios)" were released last year and "Homesickness" in 2022.
Formed by bassist Jacob Montano, drummer Baz Gillen, guitarist Aidan Roberts and pianist Killian Bertsch, they offer listeners a new perspective within classic jazz but with the certainty of exploring what can happen if you mix other genres and extrapolate these barriers, they then surprise us with the quality and authenticity shown in "Wings".
"Wings" is a medley of sounds sure to thrill music connoisseurs around the world. Created from elements of rock, jazz, rap, hip-hop and blues, this single will certainly catch the attention of curious people and music scholars. In promotion of the first experimental jazz rap album (released at the end of February), this single serves to define what to expect from the long-awaited LP release!
The new work begins with a vocal that repeats a phrase of post-error motivation sung as if it were hip hop, an introduction in which we already feel the band's strength with jazz and hip hop in "Wings".
