DOWN THE LEES lança o novo single "Douse" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Christmas Tribute" e "Since La Vie En Rose" no ano passado.
Originalmente de Vancouver, um projeto solo de Laura Schultz com uma banda ao vivo, foram lançados já desde então 3 álbuns e 1 EP, além de diversos singles. A banda hoje é formada pelo trio Laura, Andy Ashley e Chris Carlson, formando uma sonoridade única que te faz imergir em um rock vibrante e cheio de energia.
"Douse" inicia com riffs de guitarra que fazem a faixa pegar fogo e batidas fortes e marcantes, com um som agitado que é para fazer a galera pular e sair do chão. Logo, fica mais suave, com o baixo bem colocado e fornecendo uma base para a música, entra a voz maravilhosa sólida e bem dark de Laura, com influências dos anos 90 e 2000, nos levando com um timbre as vezes agudo, leva a faixa conforme quer.
Uma canção complexa, cheia de variações e uma sonoridade forte que traz intensidade, com uma energia que faz os ouvintes quererem cantar juntos, com um jeito de cantar de Laura que nos entrega tudo em uma performance épica, cheia de atitude e expressividade.

DOWN THE LEES releases the new single "Douse" being the first work released this year. Previously, the singles “Christmas Tribute” and “Since La Vie En Rose” were released last year.
Originally from Vancouver, a solo project by Laura Schultz with a live band, 3 albums and 1 EP have since been released, as well as several singles. The band today is made up of the trio Laura, Andy Ashley and Chris Carlson, forming a unique sound that immerses you in vibrant rock full of energy.
"Douse" starts with guitar riffs that make the track catch fire and strong, striking beats, with an agitated sound that is sure to make the crowd jump and leave the floor. Soon, it becomes softer, with the bass well placed and providing a base for the song, Laura's wonderful solid and very dark voice comes in, with influences from the 90s and 2000s, taking us with a sometimes high-pitched timbre, takes the track as you want.
A complex song, full of variations and a strong sound that brings intensity, with an energy that makes listeners want to sing together, with Laura's way of singing that gives us everything in an epic performance, full of attitude and expressiveness.
