Dom Malin tem talento nato desde jovem, quando ao 12 anos teve sua primeira guitarra elétrica. O cara simplesmente nasceu para isso. Se formou em uma universidade de música e agora também trabalha como professor em um college musical. Somando seus streams no Spotify e Youtube já ultrapassam 500k de forma orgânica e espontânea.
O novo trabalho "Surface" nasceu das emoções profundas de se sentir um estranho, perpetuamente à margem, tentando pertencer, mas sentindo-se excluído. Esta música explora a luta interna de querer fazer parte de algo, ansiar por ser ouvido, mas muitas vezes sentindo-se como um fantasma, um mero sussurro na multidão que ruge.
Com um início com riffs de indie rock que nos cativam, com batidas fortes, logo o instrumental da guitarra fica mais baixo e o vocal introspectivo e sussurante de Dom entra e leva a faixa com um certo mistério sobre como isso vai se desenvolver. Logo depois, Dom solta a voz e então eleva a atmosfera sonora.
"Surface" é sobre estar na superfície, nunca pertencer a algo profundamente, uma faixa que se comunica com o ouvinte que se sente sozinho em busca de fazer parte de um bando, um sentimento tão comum mas difícil de admitir. Dom Malin has had natural talent since he was young, when he picked up his first electric guitar at the age of 12. The guy was simply born for this. He graduated from a music university and now also works as a teacher at a music college. Adding up his streams on Spotify and Youtube, they already exceed 500k organically and spontaneously.
The new work "Surface" was born from the deep emotions of feeling like an outsider, perpetually on the margins, trying to belong but feeling excluded. This song explores the internal struggle of wanting to be part of something, yearning to be heard, but often feeling like a ghost, a mere whisper in the roaring crowd.
Starting with indie rock riffs that captivate us, with strong beats, soon the guitar instrumental gets quieter and Dom's introspective and whispering vocals enter and lead the track with a certain mystery about how this will develop. Soon after, Dom releases his voice and then increases the sound atmosphere.
"Surface" is about being on the surface, never belonging to something deeply, a track that communicates with the listener who feels alone in search of being part of a gang, a feeling so common but difficult to admit. Dom exposes emotion in the chorus, putting his all into it and making us sing together. In the most versatile parts of the song we are surprised. With an indie rock that grows towards the end, an arrangement that even includes keyboards, it's sure to shake anyone, yet another anthem released by Dom Malin that manages to hold our attention from beginning to end and still makes you want to replay it and listen to it again. again and again.
