Storm" is Brian Hingerty's second release. Unlike his first EP, which included songs that were written years before he recorded and released them, "Storm" is a much more current representation of where he is as an artist now . This piece of music was written in a unique tuning that Brian has been composing, which gives the harmony a unique and nostalgic character. His slide guitar skills are also showcased on the single. "Storm" attempts to encapsulate the calm of late summer that arrives when the party atmosphere dies down but real life hasn't yet set in. They both want life to get better but regret the wild times of summer.
The alt folk with an intense guitar, in strings that are soft, but deepens us into the theme of the song, which grows in its arrangement in the background that sounds like a violin in the transitions.
