Ari Joshua lança o novo single "Elephant Walk" sendo o segundo trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Country Stroll" nesse ano e "Flask" no ano passado.
O guitarrista e compositor Ari Joshua revelou seu mais recente trabalho: “Elephant Walk” apresenta ícones do jazz John Medeski no órgão e Billy Martin na bateria.
Ari Joshua, John Medeski e Billy Martin canalizam juntos os sons animadores de um trio de piano clássico com um toque original. O piano de Medeski desliza graciosamente, um floreio fluido de enfeites pantanosos, tons gordos de órgão borbulhando de baixo. Em vez de usar uma bateria tradicional, Billy Martin orquestra várias camadas de percussão ao mesmo tempo para criar uma manta de polirritmos, vivos e em constante evolução, sinos melodiosos iluminando-se com os sabores do funk de Nova Orleans. Ari Joshua releases the new single "Elephant Walk" being the second work released this year. Previously, the singles "Country Stroll" had been released this year and "Flask" last year.
Guitarist and composer Ari Joshua has revealed his latest work: “Elephant Walk” features jazz icons John Medeski on organ and Billy Martin on drums.
Ari Joshua, John Medeski and Billy Martin together channel the uplifting sounds of a classical piano trio with an original twist. Medeski's piano glides gracefully, a fluid flourish of swampy embellishments, fat organ tones bubbling up from below. Instead of using a traditional drum set, Billy Martin orchestrates multiple layers of percussion at once to create a blanket of polyrhythms, lively and ever-evolving, melodious chimes lighting up with the flavors of New Orleans funk. As the opening melody meanders, Joshua's guitar emerges with a deep, resonant growl, swirling and mooing like an elephant raising its own trunk. Medeski launches into an inspired improvisation – a wide, sweeping percussion solo from Martin brings “Elephant Walk” full circle.
"Elephant Walk" has an introduction that is very captivating, we Brazilians love this rhythm that explores samba and bossa nova, with light and smooth beats that have the power to make our body dance and then flows as if we were on a night out. summer at the beach.
