William é um músico eclético, excêntrico e eletrônico da região noroeste de Indiana/Chicago. William extrai influência de uma variedade de fontes que incluem Downtempo, IDM, Ambient, Soundtrack, New Age, Video Games, Art Rock e Prog.O artista surgiu de raízes da classe trabalhadora e ainda existe lá, e ainda assim, a música de William transcende e abraça esta história para melhor ou para pior. Às vezes como um filósofo idoso, outras vezes como um beligerante e burro. De qualquer forma, uma coisa que William não é… é chato.
O novo álbum mostra o artista com um som transcendental, capaz de te levar em uma viagem por meio do leftfield e a música eletrônica que é fascinante, com 15 faixas incríveis. Para começar, tem a primeira canção 'The Pelagic Plunge' que lembra um som oriental que faz a gente se conectar com o estado natural, com nosso lado mais primitivo, é como se fosse um detox sonoro para nos preparar para entrar na experiência.
A segunda canção 'Abyssal Solenogastres' tem uma vibe mais eletro, com batidas que interagem com nossa mente e nos faz entrar no clima alucinante por meio dos efeitos especiais que ocorrem nas transições como se a canção estivesse decolando, com um som alien ao fundo, é delirante essa jornada que nos faz ir para um universo futurista.
A quinta canção 'Legends of The Whale Fall' tem uma suavidade ímpar, com um vocal cantando bem distante, ouvimos um som distorcido da voz com batidas que nos conectam fortemente na faixa, é um som bem psicodélico que na transição para a sexta faixa, é como se estivesse com sinal ruim de antena, uma genialidade particular de William. 'The Terrifyingly Beautiful Lives of Sea Angels' continua com aquele clima mágico e especial, uma canção que nos faz flutuar por dentro da euforia pop eletro, com efeitos sonoros de mar e um sintetizador que faz o ouvinte viajar para longge, com batidas rápidas e fortes, para agitar completamente a canção, em um ritmo contagiante que nos dar uma volta nos anos 80, lembrar do fliperama, ir para as décadas seguintes até chegar aqui, em um som atemporal.
A décima primeira canção 'Back To Benthic' tem um clima dee festa e balada, eufórico e psicodélico, com sintetizador nas passagens que são transcendentais, a faixa vive altos e baixos, emoções como uma montanha russa, com batidas que fazem a gente sentir a adrenalina e um sintetizador que suaviza em alguns momentos.
'The Neritic Crawl' chega com um som cósmico, que nos faz pensar na imensidão do universo, uma viagem doida e que nos conecta com outras dimensões, uma canção que nos faz explorar novos ambientes, novas visões, com um clima inesquecível, é uma faixa de transição que nos faz meditar em grandes coisas, com um vocal distante, como se estivéssemos chegando em outro lugar. William is an eclectic, eccentric, electronic musician from the Northwest Indiana/Chicago region. William draws influence from a variety of sources that include Downtempo, IDM, Ambient, Soundtrack, New Age, Video Games, Art Rock and Prog. The artist emerged from working class roots and still exists there, and yet William's music transcends and embraces this story for better or worse. Sometimes as an elderly philosopher, other times as a belligerent and stupid one. Anyway, one thing William isn't... is boring.
The new album shows the artist with a transcendental sound, capable of taking you on a journey through leftfield and electronic music that is fascinating, with 15 incredible tracks.
