Eric Shaffer & The Other Troublemakers lançam o excelente álbum "Dry Lightning"

Eric Shaffer & The Other Troublemakers lança o novo álbum "Dry Lightning" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano. Antes, havia sido lançado o álbum "Crazy Road Trip" em 2018.

Há anos que a banda é uma das favoritas do sul do Arizona e estabeleceram uma reputação por lançar músicas originais de qualidade. Os principais compositores são marido e mulher, Eric e Carol Schaffer, que escrevem juntos desde 2014. Eles foram finalistas do Great American Song Contest, da competição de composição Passport to Nashville e da competição de composição do Tucson Folk Festival. A música "My Friend" (faixa 3 do álbum "Dry Lightning") foi a vencedora da competição de composição do Tumbleweed Music Festival de 2022 em Richland, WA.

"Dry Lightning" foi produzido e mixado por Peter Dalton Ronstadt e conta com apresentações dos melhores músicos americanos de Tucson. Eric se apresentou nos EUA e no México e abriu para vários artistas nacionais, incluindo Clint Black, Blackberry Smoke, Marc Cohn, Lonestar e Radney Foster. 

Para começar, tem a primeira canção "Great Wild Nowhere" com um violão que nos contagia já na introdução e depois entram batidas agitadas e um riff de guitarra que traz a vibração do country rock. Uma faixa que nos passa aquela sensação de liberdade. Imagino pegar o carro, viajar pelo interior e ouvir esse hino genial, que tem um refrão que nos faz cantar juntos.

A segunda canção "Mama's Bogo Blues" traz um clima genial com o rock blues e o country. É aquela canção para fazer a galera em uma festa anos 60 se divertir, dançar e cantar juntos. Uma faixa atemporal, que conta com um clássico para aquecer nossos corações.

"Dry Lightning" é a quinta canção, o título do álbum. Com riffs marcantes que incendia os ouvintes por dentro, nos faz reviver o rock clássico dos anos 70, com um vocal poderoso e grave, sólido que cativa os ouvintes. Uma faixa cinemática que poderia ser trilha sonora de alguma cena de ação, é uma faixa explosiva pelas batidas fortes e a guitarra que nos arrebata no solo. Um hino espetacular realmente.

A sétima canção "Fire Road 303" tem uma introdução com violão e guitarra absurdamente incrível, um show instrumental a parte. A faixa segue cativante e com riffs desconcertantes, o vocal canta com um certo mistério e um refrão que sentimos a música vibrar em nosso peito.

"Road to Tucson" a nona canção, é suave, com riffs que chama os ouvintes para entrar na canção. As batidas nos envolvem completamente. É a faixa que soa como se tivesse ouvido a canção a vida inteira. 

"Steady As We Go" é a décima primeira faixa, uma canção deliciosa de ouvir, a faixa faz o álbum sair do rock clássico e ir para o folk acústico, com toda a serenidade e suavidade que nos relaxa. 

Para finalizar, tem a última canção "Whiskey Lay Me Down, que tem a suavidade de um folk acústico, aquela faixa para ouvir no cair de uma noite fria, ouvir tomando um vinho para aquecer nossos corações em uma canção muito especial.

O álbum "Dry Lightning" é uma aventura country que explora o rock, blues e folk, com 13 canções excelentes que torna o trabalho como um dos grandes lançamentos do ano.

 Eric Shaffer & The Other Troublemakers release the new album "Dry Lightning" being the first work released this year. Previously, the album “Crazy Road Trip” had been released in 2018. The band has been a Southern Arizona favorite for years and has made a name for itself by releasing quality, exclusive music. The main songwriters are husband and wife Eric and Carol Schaffer, who have been writing together since 2014. They have been finalists in the Great American Song Contest, the Passport to Nashville songwriting competition, and the Tucson Folk Festival songwriting competition. The song "My Friend" (track 3 on the album "Dry Lightning") was the winner of the songwriting competition at the 2022 Tumbleweed Music Festival in Richland, WA. "Dry Lightning" was produced and mixed by Peter Dalton Ronstadt and features performances by Tucson's finest American musicians. Eric has been performed in the US and Mexico and has opened for several national artists, including Clint Black, Blackberry Smoke, Marc Cohn, Lonestar and Radney Foster. To begin with, there is the first song "Great Wild Nowhere" with an acoustic guitar that infects us in the introduction and then two upbeat beats and a guitar riff that brings a country rock vibe. A track that gives us that feeling of freedom. Imagine getting in the car, traveling through the countryside and hearing this brilliant anthem, which has a chorus that makes us sing along.

The second song "Mama's Bogo Blues" brings a brilliant atmosphere with rock blues and country. It's that song to make everyone at a 60s party have fun, dance and sing together. A timeless track, which features a classic to warm our hearts. "Dry Lightning" is the fifth song, the title of the album. With striking riffs that fire listeners inside, it makes us relive classic rock from the 70s, with a powerful and serious, solid vocal that captivates listeners. A cinematic track that could be the soundtrack to an action scene, it is an explosive track due to its strong beats and the guitar that takes us to the ground. A truly spectacular anthem. The seventh song "Fire Road 303" has an absurdly incredible intro with acoustic guitar, an instrumental show in itself. The track remains captivating and with disconcerting riffs, the vocal sings with a certain mystery and a chorus that makes us feel the music vibrate in our chest. "Road to Tucson", the ninth song, is smooth with riffs that draw listeners into the song. The beats completely surround us. It's the track that sounds like you've heard the song your whole life. "Steady As We Go" is the eleventh track, a delightful song to listen to, the track moves the album away from classic rock and into acoustic folk, with all the serenity and softness that relaxes us. Finally, there is the last song "Whiskey Lay Me Down, which has the softness of acoustic folk, that track to listen to on a cold night, to listen to while drinking wine to warm our hearts in a very special song. The album "Dry Lightning" is a country adventure that explores rock, blues and folk, with 13 excellent songs that makes the work one of the great releases of the year.
