Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Looking Over My Shoulder" e "Foreign Land".
O cantor e compositor Angelo Conway nos traz um novo hino indie rock com aquela influência country que aquece os corações. Quando vier aqueles dias frios, estiver em uma viagem, na estrada, a canção é para esses momentos, nos traz uma vibe incrível que nos transporta para ambientes nunca explorados antes.
"The Ballad Of The Broken Road" é genial, começa a capela, com um vocal que nos conquista e já sabemos a qualidade e talento que o cantor possui, algo raro atualmente. Aos poucos, vai entrando o violão e então somos levados em uma onda que é marcante e genial com algo que parece uma guitarra prestes a ser tocada.
Aos poucos, entram as batidas e a atmosfera sonora cai crescendo, até chegar no refrão que explode e nos cativa totalmente. Em um estilo que é meio dark que antecipa o refrão, então a música chega com toda a energia no refrão para nos fazer cantar juntos. A faixa gruda facilmente em nossa cabeça.
Tem um solo instrumental que deixa tudo ainda mais mágico, guitarra, é sensacional. É muito pessoal essa afirmação, mas eu estava esperando por uma canção como essa, um hino completo que envolve o folk, rock, country, atemporal, passa por todas as décadas do rock em visita ao passado em uma estrada quebrada e partida, uma história de tirar o fôlego na letra.

The Short Fall releases new single "The Ballad of The Broken Road" being the third work released this year. Previously, the singles “Looking Over My Shoulder” and “Foreign Land” had been released. Singer-songwriter Angelo Conway brings us a new indie rock anthem with that country influence that warms the hearts. When those cold days come, you're on a trip, on the road, the song is for those moments, it brings us an incredible vibe that transports us to environments we've never explored before. "The Ballad Of The Broken Road" is brilliant, it starts a cappella, with a vocal that wins us over and we already know the quality and talent that the singer has, something rare nowadays. Little by little, the guitar enters and then we are taken on a wave that is striking and brilliant with something that looks like a guitar about to be played. Little by little, the beats come in and the sound atmosphere grows, until it reaches the chorus that explodes and captivates us completely. In a style that is kind of dark that anticipates the chorus, so the song arrives with all the energy in the chorus to make us sing together. The headband sticks easily to our head. There's an instrumental solo that makes everything even more magical, guitar, it's sensational. This statement is very personal, but I was waiting for a song like this, a complete anthem that involves folk, rock, country, timeless, goes through all the decades of rock visiting the past on a broken and broken road, a story breathtaking in the lyrics.
