Sparkbird lança novo single "Envy" sendo o terceiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "I Am Not a Stranger Here" e "Disembodied Mind".
Liderado por Stephan Nance, já se apresentou em 3 continentes diferentes. Com um som folk alucinante, com elementos pop rock, os ouvintes são levados em um estilo agitado e que faz nossa mente flutuar para longe.
"Envy" tem um início avassalador com o toque de piano constante e a voz sólida de Sparkbird, que nos mantém cativados na canção. A faixa vai crescendo, sem perceber, já estamos dentro da canção.
Aos poucos entram as batidas, quando chega no refrão a faixa tem um ritmo alterado, uma variação que deixa a canção contagiante e nos faz querer cantar juntos, com batidas lentas e um ritmo mais lento consequentemente.
"Envy" é uma canção que mostra uma sociedade onde as pessoas gostam de ficar comparando uma com as outras, entram em desespero e então nossa mente elétrica e poderosa desliga e morre, é uma ideia que tem um ritmo que combina bastante, una aventura sonora, com uma pegada melódica e lenta no refrão, como se estivesse tudo ficando mais fraco e devagar, até morrer, uma canção que é eletrizante do começo ao fim.

Sparkbird launches new single "Envy" being the third work released this year. Previously, the singles "I Am Not a Stranger Here" and "Disempowered Mind" had been released. Led by Stephan Nance, it has performed on 3 different continents. With a mind-blowing folk sound, with pop rock elements, listeners are swept away in an upbeat style that makes our minds float away. "Envy" gets off to a rocky start with steady piano playing and Sparkbird's solid voice keeping us enthralled through the song. The track grows, without realizing it, we are already inside the song. Gradually between the beats, when it reaches the chorus the track has an altered rhythm, a variation that makes the song contagious and makes us want to sing along, with slow beats and a consequently slower rhythm. "Envy" is a song that shows a society where people like to compare themselves to each other, fall into despair and then our electric and powerful mind shuts down and dies, it's an idea that has a rhythm that matches a lot, a sonic adventure , with a melodic and slow chorus, as if everything is getting weaker and slower, until it dies, a song that is electrifying from beginning to end.
