The Chase lança novo EP "Bonzo Bonanza" com 5 faixas sendo o primeiro trabalho do tipo lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado um single que faz parte do EP. Já falamos aqui sobre o lançamento do EP "Not The F*cking Game Show" e o single "See The World to Rights".
A banda traz um indie rock com uma pegada que tem a identidade britânica e um traço latino, hispânico, podendo perceber isso no vocal e som.
A primeira faixa "Bonzo Bonanza" inicia com um toque de sanfona ou violino, com batidas bem cativantes, um toque meio latino, meio russo, com o sotaque britânico e puxado ao latino, uma verdadeira mistura cultural. É como se fecharmos os olhos e de repente estamos imaginando passear pela Europa, Rússia, Itália, América Latina e Grã Bretanha, é uma viagem incrível que conta com um solo de guitarra eletrizante.
A segunda canção "Trumpet" é um som pop rock, com uma introdução que conta com backing vocal que nos hipnotizam e nos conectamos na faixa. O vocal, como de característica, grita "Ole" no começo da canção. Viva, expressiva, batidas envolventes e fortes, a faixa é totalmente cativante e gruda na cabeça.
A terceira canção "Ballon d'Or" tem riffs marcantes que tem muita sintonia com a bateria, levando a faixa rapidamente ao refrão que é genial e contagiante, nos faz querer cantar juntos. Um rock and roll com uma pegada indie, autêntica, tem muita energia.
A quarta canção "Lara" é diferente, tem um começo mais folk, violão e batidas suaves e leves. Também tem backing vocal, fazendo um arranjo melódico e vocal gostoso de ouvir. Sabe aquela fogueira, estar perto da natureza, com as pessoas que amamos? "Lara" resgata esse sentimento, uma canção que gruda e surpreende.

The Chase releases new EP "Bonzo Bonanza" with 5 tracks being the first work of its kind released this year. Before, a single that is part of the EP had been released. We've already talked about the release of the EP "Not The F*cking Game Show" and the single "See The World to Rights". The band brings an indie rock with a footprint that has the British identity and a Latin, Hispanic trait, being able to perceive this in the vocals and sound. The first track "Bonzo Bonanza" starts with a touch of the accordion or violin, with very catchy beats, a half Latin, half Russian touch, with a British accent and pulled to Latin, a true cultural mix. It's like we close our eyes and suddenly we're imagining touring Europe, Russia, Italy, Latin America and Great Britain, it's an incredible journey that features an electrifying guitar solo. The second song "Trumpet" is a pop rock sound, with an intro that has backing vocals that mesmerize us and we connect in the track. The vocal, as a feature, screams "Ole" at the beginning of the song. Lively, expressive, enveloping and strong beats, the track is totally catchy and sticks in your head. The third song "Ballon d'Or" has striking riffs that are very in tune with the drums, quickly leading the track to the chorus that is genius and contagious, makes us want to sing along. Rock and roll with an indie vibe, authentic, has a lot of energy. The fourth song "Lara" is different, it has a more folk beginning, acoustic guitar and soft and light beats. It also has a backing vocalist, making a melodic arrangement and a pleasant vocal to listen to. You know that bonfire, being close to nature, with the people we love? "Lara" rescues this feeling, a song that sticks and surprises. Without further spoilers, it's worth checking out the fifth song, which is the single released that year. The "Bonzo Bonanza" EP is vibrant, full of energy and new and authentic sound, a brilliant work by the band.
