Raheem Lavin lança novo EP "Psychosis" com 3 faixas sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Garden of Eden" e "Roam As You Please".
O novo trabalho traz um EP que faz fluir gêneros como hip hop, R&B, o Trip hop, avant garden e bedroom pop. De forma incrível, as canções são transcendentais com uma sonoridade psicodélica em alguns trechos.
Para começar, a primeira faixa "Four Page Letter", iniciando com um som misterioso, sintetizador ainda introspectivo, surge um vocal como se fosse um remix, uma voz não identificada, falando frases. A canção vai crescendo no instrumental aos poucos, somos cativados quando entram as batidas, fazendo um som constante e crescente. O vocal entra e nos leva com muita suavidade, fazendo nossa mente flutuar. A canção nos contagia e aos poucos nos entregamos para a faixa, que tem um arranjo dark.
A segunda canção " On a Trail Interlude" é totalmente distorcido, parece um som de guitarra e vocal, de qualidade não muito convencional. Parece um grunge demo de Nirvana, é uma canção genial para o EP.
A terceira faixa "Mirror" tem um toque de teclado no início e batidas que agitam a faixa. Logo, entra um arranjo aos moldes do hip hop clássico, o vocal dentro do pop R&B, somos levados pela leveza que a música nos proporciona, uma suavidade explícita, que acalma nossa mente e nos coloca dentro da canção, movimentando nossa cabeça em ritmo com a faixa. Uma nostalgia gostosa com os anos 90 e 2000, nos arrepia ouvir as batidas da canção com esse sintetizador que nos eletriza.

Raheem Lavin releases new EP "Psychosis" with 3 tracks being the first work released this year. Previously, the singles "Garden of Eden" and "Roam As You Please" had been released. The new work brings an EP that makes genres such as hip hop, R&B, Trip hop, avant garden and bedroom pop flow. Incredibly, the songs are transcendental with a psychedelic sound in some parts. For starters, the first track "Four Page Letter", starting with a mysterious sound, synthesizer yet introspective, comes a vocal as if it were a remix, an unidentified voice, speaking phrases. The song gradually grows in the instrumental, we are captivated when the beats come in, making a constant and growing sound. The vocal comes in and takes us very smoothly, making our minds float. The song infects us and little by little we surrender to the track, which has a dark arrangement. The second song "On a Trail Interlude" is totally distorted, it seems a guitar and vocal sound, of not very conventional quality. Sounds like a Nirvana demo grunge, it's a genius song for the EP. The third track "Mirror" has a keyboard touch at the beginning and beats that shake the track. Soon, an arrangement along the lines of classic hip hop comes in, the vocals within R&B pop, we are carried away by the lightness that the music gives us, an explicit smoothness, that calms our mind and puts us inside the song, moving our head in rhythm with track. A delicious nostalgia with the 90s and 2000s, it makes us shiver to hear the beats of the song with this synthesizer that electrifies us.
